Job Description
We are seeking a junior software developer to join the development team at our Waterloo branch. Applicants will be responsible for the maintenance and development of web based applications in an agile development environment. Working knowledge of database driven web applications, and fulfillment systems would also be an asset. We are a Windows based development environment, so experience with other operating systems and servers is nice, but not required.
Requirements
- University degree, College diploma or equivalent is required.
- No experience is required, however co-op experience would an asset.
- Must work well in a team environment.
Required Skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Server Operating Systems
- Some experience developing web applications
- C# and .NET
- ASP, VBScript, JavaScript
- HTML, XSL, XML
- IIS
- Basic database knowledge. SQL experience would be an asset.
- Ability to perform in an agile development environment and learn quickly.
The following skills are not required, but would certainly be an asset
- Experience with MVC
- SQL Server database design, stored procedures, functions
- SQL tools (Performance Tuning)
- SQL Reporting Services
- Visual Basic
- COM+ development in C# and VB
- Flash/Silverlight
- Adobe Photoshop
