Junior Tax Reporting Accountant Job in Zürich, Zürich Switzerland

In this position you will be responsible for the preparation of external financial reports in accordance with US GAAP and will be key in the monthly consolidation process for the Group. You will report to the Tax Reporting Manager and be an integral part of a small team of accounting professionals. This position requires interaction with other Headquarters departments and the external auditor.
The Role
- Support the consolidation process of theGroup income tax provision under USGAAP, including monthly analysis of the consolidated income tax accounts and assist in the preparation of the effective tax rate estimation
- Provide support and guidance to reporting units worldwide on matters related to income tax accounting in accordance with US GAAP, as well as other reporting areas
- Assist in the coordination of other group-wide income tax reporting processes
- Support Group Tax team in tax planning initiatives
- Liaison with external auditor on matters related to income tax reporting
- Assist in other monthly / annual financial reporting processes including analysis and preparation of financial reports
You possess
- You should have a University degree in Accounting
- Finance and a minimum of 2 years experience in either one of the "Big 4" accounting firms or within a multinational company
- Working experience of US GAAP and / or IFRS is required
- knowledge of income tax accounting is desired
Skills, Knowledge required
We are looking for a team-player with sound analytical and problem solving skills, advanced Excel user, excellent communication skills, ability to work well independently, to work closely with people at all levels of the organization and to perform well under pressure.
Fluency in English is a must and every other language is an advantage.
