Junior Tech Orientated Excel/VBA RAD Developer- UK; London recruitment
A leading commodities trading house are looking to onboard a Junior Excel/VBA/Access RAD Developer to work across their Front/Middle and Back Office systems. A financial background is not essential; however the successful RAD Developer will have had experience developing Excel/VBA/Access applications in a rapid application environment. It is a small team, and therefore there will be a lot of interaction with the end business users and traders providing the Junior Excel/VBA/Access RAD Developer an opportunity to pick up business knowledge quickly with some of the most exotic commodities/fx products on the market.
Required skills for Junior RAD Developer- Excel/Access/VBA
• Advanced VBA
• Excel/Access
• Able to write advanced SQL and developer and support T-SQL.
• Knowledge of Object Orientated OO programming in order to apply within VBA.
• Understanding of Source Control.
Responsibilities for Junior RAD Developer- Excel/Access/VBA
• Provide analysis, development and support of ad-hoc applications written using MS Excel, Access and SQL across Front/Middle/Back office.
• Store solutions within source control and provide necessary documentation.
• Work with business users and other technology teams to ensure that applications interface with core systems.
• Work closely with Senior RAD Lead developer to fulfil business requirements in a professional and fast paced environment.
