JV Accountant – Major O&G firm, Stavanger recruitment
Leading international Oil Gas company are urgently seeking a Senior JV accountant on a contract basis to join their team in Stavanger, Norway. You will be managing the JV accounting and finance for all of the accounting and financial transactions for the country operations, and work closely with the Norway Finance Manager. The company have a number of assets on the Norwegian shelf in the North Sea, and are investigating the acquisition and development of further fields.
This position is for a year contract, and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced JV accountant to work for a leading international Oil Gas firm in a key position.
In this role you will be managing the accounting and financial transactions of the Norwegian JV operations, and manage JV budgets and maintain relationships with the financial representatives of the JV partners where needed. You will also be responsible for billing and regular reporting.
You will have a strong background in Oil Gas accounting, and strong knowledge of Oil Gas field operations, as well as contractual and fiscal arrangements and structures. A working knowledge of Norwegian tax affairs is highly advantageous, as are Norwegian language skills.
