Our client is a global leader in providing healthcare solutions in Medical Devices and Orthopedics. They are specialised in the design and manufacture of implants which replace hips, knees, shoulders and elbows, spinal care, biomaterials, bone cements and orthopedic surgical instruments.
Currently we are searching a Key Account Director to lead our client‘s Key accounts team to set and deliver growth and profitability budgets with non-clinical customers
Reporting to the Country Manager and working closely with the Country Leadership teams. He will be accountable for the Key accounts team’s growth and profitability across business units and product portfolio within the country.
Key Tasks:
- Hire, Lead, develop and retain a talented key account management team
- Accountable for setting and driving the strategy, PL and growth targets for the agreed key accounts, managing pricing and relationships working with Country Leadership teams/ Business Unit Leaders
- Identify, develop and maintain deep strategic relationships with key cross –portfolio accounts and working closely with Country Managers/ Business unit leaders in building key account activity
- Ability to set a strategic agenda within the context of an overall Country business strategy, understand the customer needs/situation, prioritize the many possibilities, and draw upon the internal resources available to implement effectively within and outside of the immediate direct accountability
- Lead in Company‘s solution offerings to customers, developing relationships with Senior customer stakeholders to understand and meet the customers’ needs
- Network internally with Country Leadership teams, Key Account Managers and key Business Unit stakeholders to share best practice, customer solutions, programs and implementation challenges
- Working collaboratively with BUD’s drive profitable and long term negotiations with strategically important key accounts
- Provide the strategic input into Marketing at both Country and European level to outline key market trends, market development opportunities and competition activity
- Act as a senior leadership member of the Country Leadership team
Requirements:
- Successful key account sales management experience essential.
- Key experience in managing a PL
- Proven experience managing and developing teams
- Strong commercial Negotiation skils
- Comprehensive knowledge in connection with the country’s medical economy
- Extensive knowledge of the countries key strategic accounts
- Excellent Leadership and development capability
- Strong communication skills, for internal and external stakeholders
- Experience of working in Key accounts to influence hospital management is a plus
- Very good written and spoken English
