Key Account Manager Job

NORD-LOCK in Finland is looking for a Key Account Manager to be in charge of major customer relations in relevant regional areas of Finland.

The job content and the challenges
As KAM-Key Account Manager you will be responsible for major accounts and nationwide distributors in Finland. You will base your sales on solution selling and value based selling. Therefore you need to be familiar with premium brand- and solution selling to stake holders like engineers, purchasers, maintenance personnel etc.     And also, depending on the size of the customer company, you are expected to cooperate with people on top management level to establish the right customer relations.

At your side you will have sales engineers based in the south and north of Finland. You and the rest of the team are accountable for the sales and building quality customer relations based on proactive sales activities and you are expected to provide a senior role in sales management. The back office is based in Gothenburg and/or Malmö in Sweden depending on what sort of help you need or requirements you might have. You will report directly to the Sales Manager for Northern Europe and be a part of the Nordic sales team.

Your qualifications
Diploma in mechanical engineering, Master or the equivalent plus a minimum of 2-5 years experience in value based industrial selling, i.e. technical products and/or solutions – preferably within the bolt securing systems area. That would give you an advantage. In any case you have a professional background that enables you to sell on all levels, negotiate contracts and close deals in a business like manner. You have the courage and the ability to have high ambitions on behalf of yourself, your team and your clients. You are good at communicating with people on all levels of an organization both internally and externally and you practice a proactive sales style – every day. You are a goal oriented motivator with a team-player attitude. You speak Finish, English and can make yourself understood in Swedish if necessary.
