Key Account Manager Job in Los Angeles, California US
Primary Responsibilities
Generate opportunities for revenue growth within Softlines (Textile, Apparel) global accounts consistent with SGS strategic key account initiatives. Ensure the alignment and integration of services and operational deliveries in accordance to global CTS and sales strategies for SGS assigned strategic accounts. Works in conjunction with CTS sales and operations and other client services staff to achieve client deliverables.

Specific responsibilities
Meet assigned account and team revenue goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) as defined by management.
Generate within existing account assignment opportunities for additional services or solutions offerings across SGS CTS SBUs and or integrate other SGS complimentary business lines.
Maintain and build collaborative client relationships with respective client global account staff and in internal sales and operations group
Seek for opportunities to offer innovative solution offerings
Work effectively with sales and operations to deliver client expectations effectively and efficiently.
Generate opportunities for revenue growth within existing global accounts consistent with SGS strategic account initiatives.
Work closely with the global network to ensure the following: SOP compliance and prompt response to client inquiries regarding order status, department work load, capabilities and report content for jobs initiated by international sales efforts.
Work with global network to streamline client services functions for more effective and efficient execution of services.
Coordinate vendor seminars overseas with executing affiliates as needed.
Establish communications and relationships with internal and external staffs and levels as necessary
Prepare Quotations and Proposals in conjunction with sales when needed.
Communicate and monitor client expectations of execution of SGS services to local lab and global coordinators.
Preparation, communications and implementation of client specific global SOPs.
Update current client information in CRM database.
Identify and respond to client inquiries/needs via phone and email.
Develop report templates and other client specific forms with client as needed.
Maintain and manage specific client pricing.
Liaison between client / technical/ operations teams.
Maintain revenue and highlight tracking.
Address customer complaints or issues in coordination with respective required disciplines
Support collection efforts to meet DSO targets
Visit key accounts at least once per quarter, or as needed and in conjunction with sales if required
Other duties assigned as necessary in response to business needs.
Profile
University graduate or equivalent educational background
5+ years of commercial experience in a multinational organization
International business exposure in imported consumer products
Experience within the Softlines (Textile, Apparel) industry preferred
Skills
Strong analytical skills to identify trends in client markets and SGS services Strong people skills to include cross cultural sensitivities
Proven problem solving abilities.
Strong written and spoken English skills, other languages will be an advantage.
Persuasive, diplomatic, but always to the point and a strong ability to sell a concept.
Hands-on, open-minded, proactive team player.
Ability to establish effective working and team relationships with internal and external staff in a collaborative manner
Highly motivated, dependable, and detail oriented.
Strong communication and organizational skills.

Travel Requirements: 25-50%
