KLCB Assistant Financial Controller recruitment

Our client is a highly regarded, multinational Private Equity house who seeks to hire an Assistant Financial Controller into their UK finance operations.

Working as part of a well defined team your role will encompass all aspects of financial control and reporting in addition to involvement with finance transformation projects. This will provide you with a solid platform to develop your career in a central finance function in the Private Equity arena.

Key responsibilities include:

• Finance integration project work

• Ensuring the timely and accurate completion of the month end close process, including the preparation of management accounts, inter-company accountants and all reconciliations

• Preparation of FSA and VAT returns

• Year end accounting

• Management reporting and supporting financial analysis

To be successful in your application you must be able to demonstrate the following.

• Fully qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA with prior experience of working in the Financial Services sector.

• Strong technical knowledge/ application of IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP working in an autonomous environment.

• Experience of developing/ implementing financial processes and procedures is highly advantageous.
