Analyst, Renewable Energy
Our client is a specialist, independent, renewable energy fund that seek to hire an Analyst. In addition to reporting on the operational performance of existing and new assets, your role will be to support the investment decision making process.
Reporting directly into the Executive Board, this role will give you broad exposure to all aspects of the valuation, execution and portfolio management process from day one. This is an excellent entry level position into a fast paced, entrepreneurial sector.
Responsibilities include:
• Building and maintaining financial models, specifically working with different financing structures.
• Collecting and analysing data from multiple sources develop hypotheses around key trends, summarizing and presenting findings and conclusions to management .
• Working with developers and project finance teams to drive the optimal deal structure
• Designing, building and continuously improving high quality reports on the performance of individual investment to investors and lenders.
• Developing strong relationships with local operational teams to ensure smooth information flow and effective collaboration.
• Portfolio Management
To be successful in your application you must be able to demonstrate the following:
• Strong academic record. Engineering, Mathematics or Science based degrees are preferred.
• Cash flow modelling from scratch. Prior experience in project finance or renewable energy is highly beneficial
• Comfortable working autonomously with international teams.
