GENERAL
This position supports the mission of the DCC to exercise the authority of the DISA Director for Command and Control (C2) of DISA operations in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) and national leadership. The Principle Director of DISA Operations Directorate will operate the DCC and it will be staffed by personnel from across DISA directorates. The DCC is also responsible for C2 and will provide limited continuity of operations (COOP) capabilities if another location is not functioning.
The DISA Command Center will provide Command and Control over the network of DISA NetOps Centers for the DISA Director. This C2 capability will give the Director and staff situational awareness of DISA enterprise services and the ability to direct the Agency activities in support of the DoD and cyberspace operations. The DCC will exercise robust and redundant C2 of all DISA resources under all circumstances, which includes cyber-attack, physical attack, and natural disaster.
The position will be supporting DCC Joint Enterprise Services. Position provides higher level technical support to the DCC Command Staff who are charged with monitoring the DISA portion of the Global Information Grid. Duties will include assisting with complex knowledge management technical issues, collaborating with field operations centers and other assets outside of DISA, preparing course of action recommendations and presenting data to senior DISA management.
The Knowledge Management Administrator will specify and coordinate all new requirements for the DCC with the supporting directorates in order to provide required capabilities to the DCC to Operate and Assure the DISA Enterprise.
TASK DESCRIPTION
The candidate shall serve as the unit’s expert on information analysis and content management and retrieval.
The selected candidate ensures knowledge is available to the Staff when they need it.
The Knowledge Management Administrator manages digital content with tools that exchange explicit knowledge, collaborate, and connect with subject matter experts across the DCC organization and across the DISA if need be.
The selected candidate shall coordinate the development, deployment, management and maintenance of the SharePoint site with Government technical representatives.
The Knowledge Management Administrator will develop and implement a sustainable Knowledge Management framework that can be easily maintained / populated by any member of the DCC Watch floor, back office, administrative staff, or DCC leadership / staff. Updates need to be intuitive and non-cumbersome to content providers.
Knowledge Management Administrator will be flexible enough for changes requested by DCC leadership. Knowledge Management page design and delivery will be in two week “Spin” delivery cycles. The knowledge management team will develop Spin schedules and delivery reports for the DCC Commander and Deputy Commander. Excellent technical skills, with strong knowledge of current and emerging technologies - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Organized and detailed documentation skills - Experience in dealing with complex customer escalated issues - A work ethic with a customer focus on quality and results.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other scientific or technical discipline directly related to the labor category + five (5) years experience of which at least three (3) years must be specialized.
OR:
AA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other scientific or technical discipline directly related to the labor category + seven (7) years experience of which at least six (6) years must be specialized.
OR:
Relevant military training or one and one-half (1½) years of relevant military experience + an additional seven (7) years experience of which at least six (6) years must be specialized.

Ten (10) years experience of which at least nine (9) years must be specialized
