Job Duties:
This position is primarily responsible for new business development. Focus is on selling inspection and preventive maintenance contracts (contract sales) and service sales. This individual will be accountable for establishing and maintaining sales call routines consistent with branch goals in assigned territories, contacting and further qualifying the target sales list, and building effective customer relationships. The job will involve qualifying all new prospects, monitoring the credit control list, and assisting in collection efforts when necessary. Individual will be responsible for submitting a weekly activity report, maintaining a quotation log, and submitting logs monthly.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a 4-year college degree in marketing, business or other related field, or equivalent business related experience. In addition, a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated success in business – to – business service sales experience is required.
Local travel to customer locations is required; minimal overnight travel is required.
Finally, candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer. No relocation assistance is available.
