KUG LEAD Req #: 19080BR Division: Kaplan University State: Florida City: Fort Lauderdale FT/PT: Full-Time Job Description Position Summary The LEAD Program is an 18-month leadership development program for recent MBA graduates. Program participants complete three rotations within the core functions of our online university business (i.e., Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Information Technology, Performance Excellence, Student Operations, Academic Operations or Executive Operations). These projects will be highly analytical and results oriented. The LEAD program is a high visibility rotaitonal program designed to provide the opportunity for participants to gain a broad perspective of the functins that are critical to the organizaitn and to develop future Kaplan University leaders.. The rotationsf are intended to ensure a solid skills foundation and understanding of the business as well as an enhanced self-awareness for developing leadership effectiveness. Projects will leverage the participant's accumulating experience and training to deliver business results, and may involve project management, business process initiatives or a deeper dive into a specific business discipline. Each rotation includes goal-setting, a formal assessment process, and presentation of project findings to senior management. Development opportunities include: * Presentations and interaction with leaders of the company * Intensive orientation and on-going learing events * Developmental assessments * Informal learning opportunities such as executive lunches and networking * Ongoing coaching / mentoring Minimum Qualifications * Graduate of Master's program within the past two years - Business Administration, Public Administration or similar * 3-5 years work experience in increasingly responsible roles, to include business-specific skills, i.e., marketing, operations, customer service or finance, etc. * Demonstrated project management skills * Strong analytical, critical thinking and collaboration skills * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Process driven, ability to manage multiple priorities. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Candidates must have the eligibility to work permanently in the United States Please click on the link below to apply to this position.
