Full Job Description
KYC Analyst urgently required for my global custodian client. (Know your Client)
You will be part of a small temporary team based in the UK to facilitate the periodic review/renewal cycle of Dubai clients who are managed out of Dubai, Qatar and other MENA (Middle East North Africa) countries.
You will be responsible for renewing KYC (Know Your Client) profiles in accordance with the Group Policy and Dubai/Qatar MENA country's AML regulations, obtaining documents as required from the client / relationship manager and undertaking the necessary due diligence checks. Supporting KYC requirements for Global Banking Markets for existing corporate customers, across multiple business lines, ensuring MENA country specific AML Regulations and HSBC policies and procedures are maintained and adhered. Liaising with Dubai KYCS management and MENA Business Compliance stakeholders to ensure that all policies and regulations are followed while provide the best service to our Clients.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the delivery of high standards of client service, at the same time ensuring that all internal (eg Risk) and external (eg Compliance) standards requirements are met in full, utilising a combination of onshore and offshore resource managed as a single global COBAM team
Candidates should possess a sound knowledge and application of Dubai, Qatar and other MENA country's AML regulations in a periodic review/renewal capacity and knowledge of the wide range, and complex variety of fund/corporate structures.
Proven business and operational experience coupled with extensive experience in banking industry environment with KYC/AML operational exposure and experience
Technically you should significant KYC Analyst experience for a large Financial institution with experience of due diligence of Financial Institutions, Non Bank Financial Institutions and major Corporate clients.
Experience of analysing a wide variety client types, financial institutions, quoted companies, private companies, hedge funds, funds, SPV's and partnerships. Working knowledge of Lexis-Nexis, World-Check, and Banker's Almanac
