KYC Learning Manager
The Learning Manager will plan, lead, organize and control the learning activities in the implementation of Global Line of Business Procedures (GLOBP) across KYC for the UK.
Learning Manager responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of GLOBP training, communications and other supporting learning solutions to support the following requirements:
- Alignment with overall business goals and needs according to Global and country KYC requirements
- Adherence of Global procedures to standards as prescribed by HSBC Global Standards functions, Business Partners, internal and external control and regulators
- Provide expertise in learning and have a grasp of knowledge management, to serve the deployment of GLOBP
- Lead the design and delivery of appropriate, timely and effective technical learning solutions (including a variety of blended learning approaches such as face to face, self-paced, e-learning and coaching)
- Lead the provision of learning expertise to fulfil the technical learning requirements of the global KYC teams
- Assess the learning needs of various teams across KYC teams, carrying out training needs analysis (TNA) as and when necessary to establish detail of these requirements and provide options for effective learning solutions
- Lead the design of interactive, suitable and timely training; working in collaboration with Global KYC LD, and management and local experts across each of the KYC teams.
- Be responsible for the delivery of high quality/high impact technical training to KYC staff in all required locations utilising modern and professional techniques, and bringing in best practice to maximize the effectiveness of the learning experience for all staff
- Collaborate with Global KYC LD to build appropriate learning evaluation methods and implement these to report to management the effectiveness of the training delivered and also the impact of the learning upon the effectiveness of the KYC employees
Learning Manager skills required:
- Strong experience in the training life-cycle of assess, design, deliver and evaluate; to create and implement technical training
- Ability to build rapport and credibility with senior and middle line managers and work closely with a number of SME’s
- Ability to lead and manage change and manage projects
- Positive ‘can do’ approach to travelling to new countries to drive GLOBP deployment, interacting with numerous stakeholders and building relationships in a short space of time
- Extensive background in learning function including strong design and delivery of blended learning solutions
