KYC Manager/Project Manager recruitment
Summary
In order to meet our key value for scale objective of improving the customer experience and enhancing controls there is a need to review the fragmented client on- boarding model and resolve the issues with the current state. A new operational team is being built to perform Client Onboarding for the Wholesale bank.
Role Definition
The role is for a Team Lead to join the WCOB Utility who will:
- Partner closely with Global Compliance to understand in depth global AML and KYC policies
- Ensure consistent translation of these policies into operational procedures and technology
- Partner closely with regional KYC and COB specialists and technologists to ensure implementation of operational procedures and technology
- Take ownership of delivery milestones of existing initiatives
- Contribute to the formation of new work streams
- Gather and document business requirements
- Contribute to the strategic design of the new utility function
- Develop and implement effective operating models
- Be responsible for bringing ATC (Air Traffic Control) projects to closure
- Regularly review the end to end control environment to ensure that all control gaps have been identified and appropriate action plans have been established
- Ensure that the appropriate KPIs have been established to highlight operational issues that need to be addressed
- Provide project management discipline to global remediation efforts, ensuring adequate reporting exists, key stakeholders are appropriately engaged, results are correct, and documentation is in proper order for future Audits/Examinations
- Act as the primary point of contact for Audits and Examinations
Skills
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:
- Staff management experience
- KPI reporting
- Control identification
- Articulate the concepts of effective project management
- Demonstrate proven business analysis skills
- Excellent technical skills (MS PowerPoint, Visio, excel etc)
- Good understanding of Operations workflows
- An effective team player who can also work independently when required
- Ability to identify risks and issues and propose solutions.
- Have a flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing requirements
