Our Client, a global private markets investment management firm, is seeking to recruit a Fund Accountant for their operations in the beautiful Swiss city of Zug.
The Company specialise in the management of Funds in private equity, private debt, private real estate and private infrastructure. Key aspects to the KYC Specialist position will include:
- Assessment of KYC requirements for a particular client in cooperation with Compliance and the Investment Solutions team
- Carrying out in-depth customer file reviews to ensure compliance with the Guernsey anti-money laundering handbook and the firm's AML manual and policies
- Updating of new investors' and maintenance of existing investors' details including contacts, wiring details, etc. on internal systems
- Following up with investors to complete AML documentation
- Sanction screening and case management of proposed matches
- Issuing internal AML statistics
Key Requirements
For this challenging position we are looking for a well-educated professional who has a good understanding of the financial industry and has gained relevant AML/KYC experience in the past (2-3 years). Additionally, you should be proficient in MS Office especially in MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
The successful candidate should have an open mind-set, an eye for details and be eager to learn. You will be capable of working accurately, efficiently and independently even when under pressure. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to high quality standards and used to meeting tight deadlines.
