About the Job
ART DESIGNER Marketing Communications/ WBGU-TV Bowling Green State University Art Direction, graphic design and video/photography services for WBGU-TV productions, branded materials, advertising, and image production for on-air as well as all print and multi-media work. Involves a close working relationship with management, sales, marketing and promotion. Produce and design monthly PREVIEW Guide as well as all graphics for web, eNewsletters, mailings, underwriters TV spots, General Manager's communications, and membership correspondence. Must be highly collaborative, self-motivated, detail oriented, experienced in designing/manipulating photo imagery, with exceptional typography sensibility. High-level experience in print production, design and pre-press is essential. Must have experience with the Macintosh operating system and all Adobe Creative Suite (CS5) software applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, and Bridge). Experience using Final Cut Pro for video editing and Compix Character Generator experience is imperative. In addition, experience in web-solutions such as Dreamweaver, Rhythmix CMS and HTML email applications is preferred. Full-time grant funded administrative position.
