1) Performs routine laboratory analysis
2) Maintains routine documentation
3) Operates and maintains test equipment
4) Collects special samples
5) Maintains supplies and glassware
6) Prepares reagents and standards
7) Performs quality control checks
8) Responsible for area housekeeping
9) Prepare lab batches for new products and other development work
10) Contact and work with lab vendors, instrument technicians, and plant personnel
- College degree preferred
- Ability to work safely with hazardous chemicals
- Aptitude for new skills
- Demonstrate ability to perform job requirements at completion of training period
- Ability to work while standing and handle laboratory equipment to make precise measurements
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintaining analytical instrumentation
