Lab Specialist University of Utah in SLC Requires MS in biology or laboratory medicine and 12 months employment experience in molecular biology; demonstrated working knowledge of advanced scientific techniques and procedures, particularly as it relates to studying in vivo epigenetics in models of perinatal disease. This includes, but is not limited to, techniques involved in determining DNA methylation, histone code, histone variants, and nucleosome positioning. The Lab Specialist will conduct molecular biology research; analyze data from experiments; interpret results; oversee animal care in the laboratory, and train young physician scientists.
