Fatigue Technology, a part of SPS Fastener Division of Precision Castparts Corp., is seeking a Lab Technician Aide on the swing shift. The duties of the Lab Technician Aide will be to perform mechanical testing in a fatigue test lab as well as prepare parts for testing and perform FTI's cold expansion processes. The duties include test frame operation, use of measuring equipment, data collection, specimen preparation and equipment maintenance. We are looking for individuals who are self motivated, team oriented and have mathematical and mechanical abilities. The applicant should have some computer skills, such as familiarity with MS EXCEL. A high school degree or equivalent is required. Further education is desirable. Must be able to work day shift for training prior to moving to swing shift.
