Lab Technician
A successful candidate will be able to provide technical support and data to the APTAR lab operations and equipment. Supply formal reports to all customers, providing technical expertise and testing capabilities.
Primary duties and responsibilities will include:
•Follow written work instructions
•Execute work instructions and collect data
•Review raw test data, analyze and interpret test results
•Communicate with customers, both internal and outside
•Under the Sales Request data base write test reports to provide dispensing system suggestion based on the pump operating parameters
•Under Technical request system write test report detailing test results as it pertains to request
•Understand drawings and operation of dispensing pump
•Have a mechanical aptitude
•Operate Visual system for accurate measurements
•Operate various test equipment, such as scales, force gauges, hand tool etc…
•Maintain work load and scheduling for time sensitive testing
•Troubleshoot product and packaging related problems forAptar's customers
•Provide technical assistance and advice to other company departments
•Work with the Quality group in establishing quality criteria
•Assist with Product Development, Engineering and Molding in the design and qualification of new components product lines and materials
•Strong mechanical aptitude
•Experience with precision measuring instruments
•Preciseness and accuracy
•Good report writing skills
•Competence with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
Microsoft Office computer skills are necessary
Ability to read technical drawing
Aptar Beauty Home primarily sells pumps, and aerosol valves and accessories to the personal care and household markets, as well as pumps and decorative components to the fragrance/cosmetic market; and fragrance/cosmetic and personal care fine mist spray pumps, personal care lotion pumps, and continuous spray aerosol valves.
