Responsibilities:

Position Summary: The Labeling Technician Lead is responsible for reviewing pharmaceutical labeling artwork for accuracy and regulatory compliance. The scope of responsibilities includes review of master drafts, templates, guidelines and review of labeling technicians' work in process. This position provides training and leads technician activities and workflow for final printed labeling and packaging. Additionally, the Labeling Technician Lead provides support and back up to the Labeling Technician Supervisor. The incumbent works independently, under the general supervision of the Labeling Manager, and as a member of the Labeling team.

Travel Requirements: Minimal domestic travel.

Essential Duties Responsibilities:

Assist Labeling Supervisor in ensuring overall compliance with federal regulations, guidelines, Teva's templates, formats and labeling coordination procedures:

Monitor and track Labeling Technicians' workflow and work in process using internal (Quick Place) tracking systems:

Lead special projects assigned to Labeling Technicians and provide assistance with projects.

Perform administrative responsibilities for the operation and validation of the electronic Mnemonic comparator systems. Train Labeling Technicians in the operation of the Mnemonic TVT and AVIA systems to verify labeling specifications.

Interact and effectively collaborate with the Labeling Coordination Team, Regulatory Affairs, Package Engineering, Packaging sites, and external vendors.

Participate in the team interview process for Labeling Technicians candidates.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Position Requirements:

Education Required:

HS diploma or GED

Education Preferred

Associate's degree

Experience Required:

Minimum 8 years pharmaceutical Labeling experience.

Experience Preferred:

Specialized or Technical Knowledge, License, Certifications needed:

Computer skills and literacy. Familiar with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Electronic Comparator system, AS400 and Oracle a plus.

Functional Knowledge and skills:

Working knowledge of federal regulations for pharmaceutical labeling and packaging.

Working knowledge of Teva's SOPs for pharmaceutical labeling and packaging.
