For our customer, we are currently looking for a Laboratory Technician.
Job description
The essential duties responsibilities comprise the following:
• Participate in the production of feasibility and development batches of different solution formulations.
• Perform routine physico-chemical and chemical analytical laboratory analyses (e.g. pH, particulate matter, color, ...) on different solutions in accordance to GLP and local procedures.
• Document results in laboratory notebooks according to established procedures.
• Ensure follow-up of laboratory activities and maintenance.
Job requirements
• Hold a degree of Professional Bachelor or Bachelor in Sciences (University) in Industrial Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Industrial Engineering (preferably chemically oriented).
• Have a good knowlegde of chemistry and analytical techniques (e.g. pH, etc.).
• Expertise in analytical chemistry (e.g. HPLC) is an advantage.
• Willing to learn and apply different analytical techniques.
• Have good communication skills.
• Have a proven ability to work independently.
• Be able to work in a team.
• Have a good knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Have good computer skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
