Laboratory Technician
Aquarion Water Company of Connecticut has an immediate opening for a Laboratory Technician. This position will be primarily responsible for supporting the Water Quality Management Team by performing chemical, physical, and microbiological laboratory analysis on water samples. Experience working in a water testing environmental laboratory or water utility is required.
Successful candidates must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and have a Bachelors Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science or related field and five years of Laboratory experience. Preference given to candidates with degree and strong microbiological and water testing experience in a laboratory setting. Applicant must have a working knowledge of Microsoft platforms such as Word and Excel and be able to lift 75 pounds. Must be available for weekend work according to established department schedule and on an emergency basis.
Salary between $785.80-1107.20 per week, DOE. An outstanding benefits package also available.
