Laboratory Technician Job in Fort Dodge 50501, Iowa Us
Laboratory Technician Sought for Premier Fort Dodge Employer! This position is responsible for the testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished product and contributing to improved lab operations. Perform routine analytical analyses such as moisture, hardness, pH, and chromatography and properly document information. Perform routine calibrations on equipment and write investigation reports.
Qualified candidates will have a AA + 2 yrs relevant experience, BS/BA, or 4 yrs relevant experience, (strongly preferred) knowledge of proper use of routine laboratory glassware and equipment such as volumetric glassware, and analytical balances, ability to accurately follow written instruction, and have computer skills, including use of Windows and Microsoft Office. Hours for this position are 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday with a $15.00/hr pay rate.
Preferred candidates will have an understanding of scientific concepts and principles, as well as complex lab techniques. Technical writing experience is a plus. Manpower is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE/AA)
