In this role you will be responsible for the development and sourcing of global retail concept hardware, i.e. fixtures and fittings, mannequins, hangers special features. This role starts with the briefing of our engineering partners and vendors, includes prototyping and sourcing of the products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage technical development process of retail fixture concepts for adidas consumer direct retail internally and externally with global supply chain partners from prototype to mass production.
- Brief third party resources on the technical development and sourcing of retail fixtures and fittings.
- Review technical drawings of global engineering partners, identify value engineering potential and manage implementation.
- Visit factories of the global supply chain (prototype review, QC).
- Ensure all global suppliers work from one source of technical information per concept.
- Constantly review market on new materials and techniques.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in technical development and sourcing of retail fixtures and fittings
- Strong communication skills
- Strong ability to negotiate
- Advanced knowledge of MS office programs
- Excellent oral written English skills
- Team player
