PT LANGUAGE ARTS TEACHER
The John G. Wood School at Virginia Home for Boys Girls is a therapeutic, alternative school serving adolescents. We are seeking an experienced professional to provide leadership in English. Responsibilities include developing, administering, and implementing projects, activities, and services that teach and reinforce skills in reading, writing and speaking.
- Must be licensed or be eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia to teach Language Arts;
- Two or more years of related experience working with at-risk students preferred;
- Proof of a valid Virginia driver’s license; an acceptable DMV record; and able to pass background check.
- Training and experience with computers (e.g. Macintosh, DOS, Windows etc.) preferred
