Laser Operator - Competitive salary – Wednesbury
A new opportunity has arisen for a Laser Operator to join one of the UK’s leading suppliers of precision tool made components to the automotive industry.
Reporting to the Works Manager you will be responsible for operating a precision laser tooling machine, cutting metal components to specified requirements.
Below is a list of key duties that will make up your role:
· Follow all relevant quality procedures
· Achieve maximum production rates on all jobs
· Carefully handle and package material to minimize damage
· Cleary label all processed parts as required
· Carry out all daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks as required by the machine
· Alert senior staff to any problems/issues with the machine
· Keep high levels of house-keeping in and around the machine
Your relationship with the rest of your team will be key to this role as such; you should possess excellent teamwork skills.
Ideally you will have experience in 3D laser tooling, particularly metal tube cutting, though those with experience in 2D tooling will be considered.
For all of your hard work and effort a competitive salary will be on offer dependent upon previous experience and qualifications. Various shifts are avaliable (day / night) and this role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis.
