The group enjoys a global mandate and is responsible for the research, development and optimisation of the world leading FX trading platform. A key part of that strategy is the development of latency-sensitive algorithmic trading capabilities.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in lowering latency and have a proven track record of improving performance in trading platforms and execution. The successful engineer will play a crucial role in the full lifecycle research, design and development of cutting-edge tools to enable the continued success and expansion of the FX trading business.
This is an exciting opportunity for a low latency minded engineer, who has had 2-4 years experience of multi-threaded coding and the creation of high performance, low-latency e-trading systems.
Your profile:
- A BSc or MSc in a quantitative or computer science discipline such as Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics from a globally elite institution.
- Between 2-4 years experience in the development of execution systems.
- The ability to improve latency performance and analyze capacity usage of high performance, low-latency systems.
- Elite programming skills with at least 4-5 years hands on technology skills in C++.
- Knowledge of FX asset class is highly desirable.
- Outstanding record of academic achievement – top of class rank; medals, Olympiad success.
- Strong quantitative skills and the willingness and ability to work in partnership with Ph.D level quantitative traders.
- Team player, happy to work in a collegiate environment.
