Latin America- Associate Credit recruitment
Work with senior portfolio managers to provide continuous oversight of a designated group of portfolio names which includes monitoring for potential upgrading, downgrading and credit deterioration with the goal of maximizing net income and reducing credit costs.
Portfolio Management:
- Prepare credit applications, credit rating applications, or any other report required for the credit process, and have discussions with applicable credit divisions and local offices if any, to make the process move ahead
- Contribute to accumulation of knowledge of particular industries and all current events in assigned portfolio
- Maintain dialog with local offices and internal credit related support groups
- Work as a member of deal teams for business opportunities
- Work on structured credit transactions
- Attend bank and client meetings.
- Support policy development by participating in committees, project teams, or transaction discussion;
- Ensure compliance with policy and regulatory requirements;
- Coordinate with CDA for review of transactions.
5-7 years of related work experience
Strong quantitative as well as qualitative analytical skills
Strong knowledge of the economic and political environments of the Latin American countries.
Proficiency in English (oral and written), strong writing skills, fluency in Spanish or Portuguese preferred
College degree in finance, accounting or economics and master is preferable. Formal credit training is a plus.
