Do you have a background in the software industry, preferably in software training? If so, this is an incredible chance to work with a company encompassing a talented team focused on driving innovation in the software industry.
An opportunity has arisen for a Launch Manager to join our client, a software as a service (SaaS) provider that enables retailers to sell more online across multiple channels.
Working in a fast-paced environment, as a Launch Manager, you will assist customers with the setup, customisation and optimisation of their accounts.
Specifically, you will be responsible for new software launches. This will involve providing the necessary software application training, co-ordination and support to clients.
Additionally, you will contribute to the development of launch processes and procedures and advise on the development of multi-format client resources, such as video tutorials and webinars.
Acting as a primary client point of contact during the launch phase, your other duties will include:
- Assisting customers with configuration and troubleshooting
- Providing accurate and timely status reports for all client contact
- Ensuring all implementations are completed on time and within budget
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Solid commercial experience in the software industry, preferably in software training
- Experience of using web applications and CRM solutions
- A track record of working with large amounts of data, and experience with data transfer and access protocols such as FTP
- An advanced knowledge of Excel
As a Launch Manager, you will be a strong communicator with an entrepreneurial spirit. The ability to adapt and effectively handle and adjust to changes in priorities and assignments is also key.
Although not essential, experience of online retail, online marketing and/or eCommerce marketplaces, such as eBay or Amazon would be an advantage. Experience of using comparison shopping engines, such as Shopzilla, Pricegrabber, Yahoo, Shopping.com and Google Base would also be beneficial, as would experience of using remote based training tools, including WebEx, Goto Meeting, or Live Meeting.
