Express Employment Professionals needs a Lawson Business Analyst for contract position for a downtown Dallas company. This contract position fills an open position, so the candidate (if interested) could be considered for permanent employment with an increase in salary. The successful candidate must have Lawson Implementation experience and:
• Will interact at all levels of the assigned customer, and Communication Information Services departments including Director level executives
• Must be experienced in gathering (eliciting) and documenting business requirements from business management and staff, and subsequently translating and documenting those business requirements into functional system specifications (not technical specifications).
• Must be able to communicate effectively with business management and staff in terms they understand, and with IT management and staff in a language they understand.
• Should be experienced in work flow analysis and process improvement.
• Should have experience in end user testing, and in developing use case / test case documentation.
• Should have experience managing project implementations including development of project schedules (including Work Breakdown Structure), assignment of project resources, and management of tasks against a schedule.
• Should feel comfortable working in a highly diverse environment, and in a matrix management mode of operation.
• Should be experienced in dealing with third party vendors participating in project implementation.
• Must have hands on experience as a business analyst with the Lawson HRIS system (either v.8 or v.9 with v.9 as preferred) including Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Absence Management, and LBI.
• Huge plus will include experience with Lawson’s Process Flow, and / or any business analyst experience in a Call Center environment.
