About the role

Group Treasury Legal provides dedicated legal support to Group Treasury, a division of the Financial Management Group, and is seeking a talented junior legal professional ideally with a background gained in a private practice environment to join the team to focus on debt capital markets, structured finance, capital/funding structures and financing and investment transactions.

About you

You will be recently qualified with limited post admission experience gained in a major law firm preferably gained in banking/finance or corporate /commercial law looking to move from private practice to in house.

Key skills, qualifications and experience include:

Experience in banking and finance, or in corporate and commercial legal work;

Transactional experience, with previous debt capital markets, structured finance or capital transactions experience desired but not essential;

With a key eye for detail, you will enjoy working in a collaborative, team based environment and will be motivated to help achieve commercial outcomes for the business. Your excellent communication skills, commercial awareness and a strong team spirit will allow you to consolidate your career in a business aligned role.
