Due to our business expansion, we are seeking high calibre and dedicated professionals to join us in a dynamic and challenging environment as L/C Specialist
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle Standby and Documentary LC transactions and documentations in relation to domestic and international trades. Works include but are not limited to application, solving discrepancies, converting to TR loan and payment of our L/C; reviewing, approving and negotiating customer’s L/C; L/C related documentation and filing.
- Daily reporting of L/C and TR loan balances, month end reconciling balances with banks, customers and vendors, preparing and analysing A/R and A/P ageing reports.
- Liaise with Bankers, Suppliers and Customers
- Coordinate with operation department on L/C, payment, payable and receivable issues.
- Assist settlement manager with cash management, cash flow forecast, A/R and A/P management and bank credit line management.
- Assist in month-end closing and other tasks as assigned by settlement manager.
- Able to work under pressure in a demanding environment, with high degree of flexibility and willing to accept new challenges
QUALIFICATIONS AND / OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 4-year Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent
- At least 5 years hands-on experience in L/C
- In-depth knowledge of banking practice
- Preferable with experience working in Energy, Shipping or Banking industry
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Experience in SAP will be an advantage
- Mandarin-spoken preferred
