Description
Guides and directs the analysis by defining, developing and providing information to drive the decision-making process and support business operations for internal and external customers. They will need to assist clients in creating business metrics and reports and tools that are adopted and drive efficiency.
The successful candidate will independently work on developing and delivering both calendar and ad hoc reports. They should be skilled in rapid development of database environments and/or form creation in Access/Oracle to allow for prototyping of certain complex reports and/or deployment of self serve data access applications. Leverages a strong knowledge of SQL and Access to configure and develop reports that meet the needs of the end user. Projects processes with the broadest scope and highest complexity. Not only posses full technical knowledge of most phases of systems analysis, but also consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
Qualifications
A successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate both written and verbally to stakeholders and work well in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines. In addition would liaise between the business unit and the systems applications / development and programming areas
Analysts typically possess a Bachelors Degree with very strong analytic and systems skills, advanced knowledge of finance, and very strong problem solving communication skills. 8 + years experience within financial services operations with an advanced understanding of the process or processes in the business unit.
