Position Description
Scope: Design, develop, and maintain learning solutions for classroom, virtual classroom and self-directed learning based on needs analysis. Topics for these learning sessions will primarily be focused on, but are not limited to, new technology and systems deployments as well as functionality releases to current systems. Partner with members of immediate team and the broader Learning Development Community to provide a positive learning experience and to ensure that learning solutions continue to meet needs and deliver organizational impact.

Accountabilities:
???Engage with business group and other LD resources to perform needs analysis and define highly creative, interactive solutions that will effectively address the identified learning and performance objectives.
???Research, evaluate and recommend delivery strategies, topics, techniques and tools to enhance the learning solution
???Leverage SMEs (Subject Mater Experts) to collect content specifics and develop training materials
???Apply adult learning theory and processes that ensure the transfer of knowledge and skills to job application to achieve identified performance outcomes
???Conduct course walk through and train the trainer with identified course facilitator(s) for instructor led solutions
???Evaluate training materials and procedures and make on-going revisions keeping courses current based on process/systems changes and business requirements.
???Determine the effectiveness of developed solutions and adjust learning content and strategies as needed
???Develop and maintain relationships across the business to position Learning Development as a partner in their success
???Model self-improvement practices by staying current on learning industry trends and relevant business topics

Required Qualifications
???Ability to engage with business groups to assess needs
???Proven problem solving and project management skills
???Demonstrated writing skills with a strong attention to detail
???Ability to convert information into meaningful business context relevant to the learners needs
???Proven time and project management abilities
???Proficient use of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat
???Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting working relationships
???Ability to travel up to 10 %

Preferred Qualifications
???B.A./B.S. in Human Resources or related field
???Work experience in learning and development, specifically instructional design and development
???Proven use of training methodologies (adult learning theory, the ADDIE process, Bloom???s Taxonomy, and the Kirkpatrick and/or Phillips models of evaluation and measurement)
???Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Lectora and FLASH.
