Overview: Calypso Developer responsible for setting up Risk/PnL reporting, STP workflow, exception and error management processes.
Start Date: April 2012
Excellent rate of pay + 6 month contract + travel expenses paid
Condition: Must have the right to work in Europe
The client and the role:-
My client is a leader in the field of global Asset Management whom trade in all financial products. They are currently looking to hire an experienced Calypso Developer whom will be responsible for setting up Risk/PnL reporting, STP workflow, exception and error management processes. The candidate will take full responsibility of analysis of requirements, solution options comparison and required work estimations. The candidate will also be key in Solution development and delivery into production of Risk/PnL Reporting (both intra and end of day), Error/exception management, Pre/Post trade rules/validation and Overall GUI usability/performance/capacity
Responsibilities for the Senior Calypso Developer – Risk/PnL Reporting – Europe
- Strong Calypso knowledge
- Experience in Calypso migration projects
- Strong knowledge of internal Calypso workflow reporting engine
- Experience in solving performance/capacity Calypso issues, participating in performance improvement projects is a must
- Ability to understand risk measures PnL calculations

- Excellent English written and writing skills coupled with the ability to communicate these effectively in a past paced banking environment
