Lead Accountant

Job Description CenturyLink has an exciting opportunity for an Accounting professional with a strong work ethic and a desire to be part of a fast paced, results driven SEC reporting team. The Lead Accountant will asist with the preparation and filing of SEC periodic reports including Form 10-Q and Form 10-K. This position will also prepare SEC disclosure checklists, perform technical accounting research, prepare support packages for external auditors and analyze results, trends and forecasts. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting. Experience with large to medium public company and/or Big 4 is preferred. Certified Public Accountant (Preferred). Borad knowledge of GAAP and SEC rules and regulations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong Word and Excel knowledge used to create, edit and format documents and reports.
