Lead Accountant recruitment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the client to trial balance level on monthly basis
- Administer all income including rent, service charges, sinking fund, deposit.
- Management and monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
- Attend monthly meetings with the client to review all accounting matters
- Implement and manage the processes for purchase orders, approvals and supplier payments from designated accounts
- To ensure all payments are promptly deposited and data updated
- To manage the issuance of demands for all payables due
- Provision of monthly statement of rent deposits to the client
- To provide timely and accurate information required for credit control including a monthly arrears report
- Maintain effective communication with the Property Management Team
- Administration of the approved property budgets
- Preparation of tenant apportionment summaries of the service charge
- Provide necessary assistance and responses to any tenant or client accounts related queries
- Preparation of monthly variance reports and full trial balance.
- No later than 3rd January, reconcile service charge income and expenditure for the previous year and prepare final year end accounts.
- Taking part in meetings which are conducted as per the company requirements
- Any other duties as directed by your Line Manager
Key Skills / Knowledge:
- A minimum of 8 years experience in relevant fields
- Experience of Tramps property management software -
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrate the ability to use computers for the following programs: Tramps, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to manage people
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and provide accurate information
- Attending meetings with clients
- Motivated with management and service skills
- Excellent planning and analytical skills
