Lead Accountant recruitment

Primary Responsibilities:

Reporting to the client to trial balance level on monthly basis
Administer all income including rent, service charges, sinking fund, deposit.
Management and monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
Attend monthly meetings with the client to review all accounting matters
Implement and manage the processes for purchase orders, approvals and supplier payments from designated accounts
To ensure all payments are promptly deposited and data updated
To manage the issuance of demands for all payables due
Provision of monthly statement of rent deposits to the client
To provide timely and accurate information required for credit control including a monthly arrears report
Maintain effective communication with the Property Management Team
Administration of the approved property budgets
Preparation of tenant apportionment summaries of the service charge
Provide necessary assistance and responses to any tenant or client accounts related queries
Preparation of monthly variance reports and full trial balance.
No later than 3rd January, reconcile service charge income and expenditure for the previous year and prepare final year end accounts.
Taking part in meetings which are conducted as per the company requirements
Any other duties as directed by your Line Manager

Key Skills / Knowledge:

A minimum of 8 years experience in relevant fields
Experience of Tramps property management software -
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrate the ability to use computers for the following programs: Tramps, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to manage people
Ability to work to tight deadlines and provide accurate information
Attending meetings with clients
Motivated with management and service skills
Excellent planning and analytical skills
