Enterprise Provider Services/Common Provider Master (EPS/CPM) is the central data repository containing provider and facility/location information supporting providers working in multiple facilities/locations with varied privileges in NCAL, SCAL, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Mid-Atlantic, Northwest and Ohio. This information includes KP Providers, Affiliated Network Providers and Contracted Providers and locations. EPS/CPM manages the types of privileges that would usually be associated with a given specialty or department, retains panel eligibility and status for Primary Care Providers, and loads and retains provider photos for utilization by kp.org for Medical Staff Directory.Data maintained includes critical provider information, which is regulatory in nature, including maintenance of federal/state licenses and identifiers, tracking clinical certifications, education and training. EPS/CPM interfaces with multiple clinical systems including KP HealthConnect, serves as the system of record for the KP public website kp.org Medical Staff Directory, improves the quality of KP provider and facility data and reduces costs through data centralization. CPM also furnishes valuable management reporting information and supports compliance with regulatory requirements. The Application Consultant for the EPS/CPM application will be the primary support contact and subject matter expert, providing application and KP expertise; the conduit and interface to the IT technical team for End Users, Business and Regulatory groups and primary provider of End User support. Location: Pasadena or Pleasanton Essential Functions: - Work closely with the Regional CPM business clients i.e. PMG, KPHC, KP.ORG, CPM System Administrators and Facility users on a regular basis to resolve issues. - Communicate with the clients about procedural modifications and system changes and impacts. - Work with CPM technical team in performing QA testing for upcoming releases Provide testing support including test scripts, test results, verifying outcomes and clearing for release implementation. - Assists in problem identification and resolution and provides recommendations for pre and post implementation issues. - Provides guidance to Test teams. - Communicates functional and screen changes to affected Regional users via a formal Release Notice prior to release implementation. - Analyze business and system processes. - Participates in the analysis, definition and documentation of solutions to support business client needs. - Evaluation and analysis of new system functionality and screen design. - Provide business and technical requirements/specifications, gap analysis, data mapping and other documentation. - Maintain (non-technical) CPM support and user documentation. - Ensure consistent communications and interface with the KPIT, Client and User community. - Schedule, facilitate and document meetings. - Provide input to and support approved business cases and requirements discussions. - Represent CPM to User Groups and Committees. - Ensure ongoing maintenance of SAR discrepancy reports. - Provide leadership and direction to CPM System Administrators, Facility Users, Business Clients, Technical Team as it pertains to IT roles and responsibilities, policies and procedures. system change requirements, SOX and other regulatory requirements - Provide client support to interfacing applications for problem resolution via phone consults, email, Remedy. - Assists clients in ad hoc report request, including when needed creating the appropriate request on standard ad hoc report template and submitting an SR on behalf of client. - Provides client support to KP HealthConnect Bridges and Structures teams as needed. - Ensures that provider records, KP and Affiliate, transferred inter-regionally are processed promptly and that KPHC regional ownership is requested as needed. - Provides representation of CPM related, regulatory and regional issues to National CPM Operations Committee. - Assists in enhancement data analysis, data mapping, online screen mock-ups, testing functionality. - Participates in scope assessment and impact analysis of client business needs. - Provides application training to CPM users. - Assists with arrangements for appropriate CPM access for new CPM Users, following Data Security SOX guidelines and requirements. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in related field and/or 4 additional years of equivalent experience. - A minimum of 8 years of experience in analysis of business processes and business case development to support IT solutions. - Knowledgeable with key workflows for end users, and application data shared to downstream systems. - Proven ability to investigate, gather and document business and technical requirements and to provide quality deliverables. - Must be detail-oriented with ability to express ideas to a wide, geographically dispersed audience. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, results oriented ability to take initiative with strong consulting skills. - Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, ever changing environment; work well under pressure and shifting priorities, independently and as a team member - Must have the ability to interface on multiple levels with the user community. - User interfaces - Security Access Requirements. - Testing strategies/planning. - Travel to all KP regions as necessary Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of Common Provider Master (CPM) - KP HealthConnect experience - Experience with System interfaces/communication - Knowledge of Comprehensive Delivery Process (CDP)
