JOB DESCRIPTION:
Lead Applications Developer - VB.Net and ASP.Net.
Based in South County Dublin, my client is a financial services company with a development team of 6+ people and is looking for a lead application developer.
Developing a large range of service products for the funds sector, you will lead the development of customer service, financial, accounting and other business support applications for in-house operations. These applications are multi-tier client-server applications with web frontend.
You will participate in the specification, design and structuring of these applications, based on end-user and management requirements.
As a lead developer, you will develop, enhance, test, document and support the applications.
Requirements:
Ability to interact with business, finance and all operations staff in understanding business processes.
Lead and complete assignments on schedule, paying attention to detail and quality.
At least 5+ years' software development experience and proficiency in using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 (VB.Net and ASP.Net) and Microsoft SQL 2008.
Experience of developing financial, accounting or banking applications. Any experience in the funds sector would be an advantage.
