Lead Assessor

Our Client is recognised worldwide as a leading expert in the field of responsible management practice and business ethics, supporting their clients through assessment, certification, training and consultancy.

They serve a broad clientele including FTSE 100 firms through to smaller businesses on a global basis.

Role Details:

* Planning and organising assessments based around the firm's assessment frameworks, for example Bribery and Corruption, Human Rights, Project Assessment Framework, etc.
* Communicating with the client to obtain necessary information and to ensure that the project is being effectively planned at the client site.

Conducting assessments

* Interviewing company management
* Interviewing other stakeholders in person or by telephone
* Reviewing documentation and records
* Deciding on grades to award to each evidence point

Presenting results

* Preparing a detailed presentation of key findings
* Presenting these findings to the senior management team

Reporting

* Writing a draft report
* Obtaining feedback on the report from the client, colleagues and incorporating this feedback into the final report
* Reviewing reports of other colleagues
* Preparing detailed action plans for certain clients

Consultancy

* Offering consultancy support in e.g. Code of Conduct review/development; policy review/development; due diligence; risk assessment

Assisting in Business Development

* Preparing and updating tools for use in assessments
* Preparing proposals
* Identifying target client organisations and individuals
* Attending conferences, networking and identifying leads
* Account management
* Other business development tasks as identified by management.

Skill Set Required

* Consultancy, reviews, regulatory, compliance experience preferably gained in another consultancy firm/ Big 4 institution
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
* Excellent client facing skills
* Good business understanding: able to empathise with the issues a client is facing, understand the impacts of our work on clients and make recommendations accordingly
* Strong organisational skills
* Excellent presentation skills
* Ability to write well to testing deadlines
* Willingness to travel regularly
* Language skills: the ability to speak at least one foreign language is preferable
* Self-motivated and enthusiastic
* Calm in challenging situations and able to take responsibility for resolving issues effectively
* Focused and results oriented
* Good team player and supportive of colleagues
