Operations Supervisor
Major distribution center located in Spartanburg has immediate openings for Operations Supervisors. These positions will be responsible for the daily operations within the facility and direct workflow in a safe effective manner while properly directing 15 - 35 associates to complete assigned tasks in accordance with SOP. Will also be responsible for managing the department and systems; compliance and conformance with policy and procedure; coaching, directing, and counseling associates on all matters relating to their attendance, performance, quality of work, payroll, etc.
This position reports to the Operations Manager. Shift is 8:00 pm - 8:00 am and operates on a 12 hour rotating schedule. Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of 1 - 3 years prior supervisory experience. Undergraduate degree preferred (experience will be considered in lieu of). Candidates must possess a working knowledge of warehouse management systems, Labor Management and Performance Management Systems. Experience with power equipment is a plus. Absolutely must possess excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and maintain professionalism at all times.
