Lead Audit Associate recruitment

Our client provides outsourcing services and solutions to leading industry giants in insurance, banking, and financial services. They currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Lead Audit Associate, to be based in their offices in London's West End.
The primary responsibilities of the lead audit associate will focus on:
-Performance management
-Process and quality focus
-Result focus
-Developing the team on all quality aspects and conducts projects as required
-Establishing milestones and checkpoints for driving projects to a successful completion
-Providing timely, meaningful and fact based constructive feedback to staff members
-Setting goals and reviews them on a regular basis
-Accurately identifying development areas of the team
-Supports active participation of all team members in team issues
-Places a high value on team work and encourages its members

The lead audit associate will possess the following experience and skills:
-Strong audit experience in a similar capacity
-Strong financial or professional qualifications (e.g. CPA, CA, MBA, CFA, or similar)
-Banking and capital markets experience in a broker dealer environment
-Internal audit/SOx/risk management experience with a 'Big 4'/leading accounting firm/broker dealer
-Asset management/hedge fund experience would be advantageous
-Strong leadership skills
-Strong communication and documentation skills

This lead audit associate role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to interact with middle and senior management client, as well as work closely with associates, senior lead associates and managers.
