Lead Auditor Poland recruitment
My client, a leading Consumer Retail group, is looking for an experienced auditor to act as the Audit representative for their Polish business. The group is originally a British retail business but has now expanded internationally with more than 500,000 staff worldwide. Their business has also expanded to cover online businesses, banking and insurance offerings.
As Lead Auditor your responsibilities will be to plan and carry out Audits across the country, as well as co-developing the annual audit plan and maintaining contact with Key Stakeholders of the business. Audits will be carried out across the business processes, as well as the financial accounts of the company.
You would join a network of International Auditors in the business and report to the European Audit Manager (UK Based), however you will be working independently for the majority of local audit tasks. Your role is independent of the local Finance function and resources for Polish Audits are brought in from the international and UK based Audit teams. Part of your responsibility will be to manage a small Compliance Audit function with 1-2 direct reports.
Requirements for this role are:
· Around 5 years of Audit experience, ideally in a Big Four firm
· Experience of auditing a retail business or good knowledge of the retail industry
· Certification such as ACCA, CPA, CIA is an advantage
· Fluent in English (able to write reports and audit) and Polish
· Able to work independently
· Willing to travel 20-40% internationally
· Strong interpersonal skills
