Lead Business Analyst – Banking – Contract recruitment
The Lead Business Analyst will lead the business and process analysis efforts for the regulatory change program to ensure this leading financial services organisation is compliant with newly introduced regulatory standards.
This role is responsible for providing the overall approach for analysis and design to program delivery streams, requiring end-to-end accountability of analysis and design across impacted program work streams. Broad stakeholder involvement is required, with specific ownership of relationships with impacted legal, regulatory and compliance stakeholders.
To be a success in this contract role you will bring a blend of the following skills and experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in business analysis activities including project initiation, scoping, business requirements gathering and functional design (essential)
- Experienced in the structuring and facilitation of business stakeholder engagement workshops in support of the shaping, analysis, design and testing process (essential)
- Experienced in solution design, process analysis and developing and embedding operational frameworks (essential)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills (essential)
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills in order to effectively influence, negotiate and manage expectations up to senior management level (essential)
- Experienced in industry standard analysis, design and testing methodologies and tools (essential)
- Knowledge of project management disciplines (essential)
- Previous banking experience (essential) and delivery in a regulatory/compliance environment necessary to support the ongoing ownership of key legal, regulatory and compliance stakeholders (preferred)
This is an initial 6-month contract with a daily rate circa $900 per day.
