Lead Business Manager, APEA Business Support recruitment

The position exists primarily to align Operations within Asia to ANZ's regional and group strategy with a focus on managing changing business activities, planning and implementation. You will take a lead role in proactively resolving complicated operational queries with a longer term agenda of minimising queries via the production of improved user manuals and training materials.

As Lead Business Manager you will ensure knowledge sharing practices exist within ABS while up skilling team members to have advanced level understanding of ANZ systems and business processes. A key player in the design phase, you will be tasked with liaising and coordinating initiatives deployed to the Asia region ensuring alignment with Group wide projects, programs, structures and frameworks.

The role holder is the first point of reference for Asia queries and you will manage response times to such queries. Queries will cover core banking platforms such as CBS/MIDANZ/Finacle and other systems through to various operational queries where you will escalate and feedback as appropriate. You will also represent Asia on selected Line of Business and Group initiatives.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you need to have good understanding of Banking systems and retail, electronic banking, markets, and accounting systems used by ANZ Asia. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline preferred. Understanding of the Bank's systems, especially core banking platforms such as MIDANZ, CBS, Finacle, Murex, OTL, PSGL, Payments systems, Razor and other front office applications will prove beneficial. Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management, including the ability to interact with people from varied cultural backgrounds will be highly regarded.
