Responsibilities:
Principal Responsibilities:
Design/Implementation of medium to complex operational automation projects in tools like HP Operational Orchestration / BMC Bladelogic
Can perform highly complex/technical software programming using VB Script, JavaScript, PERL, ASP
Perform requirements analysis/documentation for application level functionality tailoring/customizations
Create run books based on ITIL good practices and assemble operational workflows for IT automation
Data management including directed cleanup and data changes
Configure application interfaces and create monitoring of workflow execution
Knowledge Requirements:
· Strong knowledge of the HP Operational Orchestration / BMC Atrium Orchestrator and developing HPOO workflows for Application management
· Strong knowledge of one or more of the following: Service-Now / BMC Remedy modules- Incident, Problem, Change, SLM, Configuration Management, Auto Discovery, Service Request, Service Catalog
· Strong knowledge regarding integration of HP OO with Service-Now / BMC Remedy modules and other similar ITSM tools
· Knowledge of HPOO integrations via Web Services
· Strong applied knowledge of layered architectures, databases, reporting tools, middleware, security, monitoring and high availability systems. Should be able to produces technical solutions/architectures that are dependable, modifiable and scalable
Skill Requirements:
· Good working experience in core Java and J2EE (JSP, XML, Spring, Hibernate, Struts)
· Should have complete hands on Java Technologies working for minimum of 3.5 years.
· Should have experience in developing web applications
Certification:
· HP OO: HP Operational Orchestration Certified
· BMC Bladelogic Certified
· HP Service Manager certified
· ITIL V3 Foundations / Practitioner / V3 Expert
Qualification:
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related area is a requirement. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science will be considered based on the number of years of experience
Experience Required (In Years)
Minimum 8 years of Operational Automation tools experience with hands-on experience implementing HP Operational Orchestration/BMC Bladelogic / BMC Atrium Orchestrator and related IT Management Software.
