LEAD CONTRACT SPECIALIST
DUTIES: The Primary purpose of this position is to serve as a non-supervisory Lead Contract Specialist for the Construction Architecture and Engineering (A and E) Section. This position is located at the National Operations Center (NOC), Division of Business Services, Branch of National Acquisitions, Construction A and E Section in Denver, Colorado. The incumbent serves as a Lead Contract Specialist and senior Warranted Contracting Officer with responsibility for performing the most complex high dollar and unique procurement contracts in a cradle-to-grave, above the simplified purchase threshold contracting office. Requirements typically involve standard to specialized/more complex items, extensive technical services, and unique contracts. The employee is responsible for leading and advising on any innovative contract methods adopted and/or approved for use. -Plans the negotiation strategy, coordinates strategy with negotiation team, and leads the negotiation -Develops and maintains processes to evaluate and monitor contractual performance
