The Northern California Business Information Office (NCAL BIO), a 700+ person organization, is the front line provider of the most advanced Health Care IT Services in the world, supporting the largest Kaiser Permanente Hospital Operations and Health Care Region, including over 3 million members, 90,000 employees and 9000 physicians. NCAL BIO service delivery responsibilities include: IT strategy, IT governance, relationship management, solutions development, innovation, project management, systems integration and transitions, infrastructure management, application maintenance, testing, local project management and end user IT device and telecommunications support.

The Business Management Office (BMO) within the NCAL BIO provides a variety of services to the NCAL BIO, including communications, governance, performance management reporting, compliance procedure support, and BIO user support for internal IT software services.

The NCAL BIO BMO is seeking a Lead Business Operations Analyst to join the BMO team. Working in close collaboration with the NCAL BIO BMO Director, and in collaboration with the NCAL BIO Extended Leadership Team, this person will be responsible for developing, managing, delivering and supporting NCAL BIO communications and information distribution processes and systems, including Websites, reporting portals, newsletters and events.

Essential Functions:
- Develop, manage and deliver NCAL BIO communications programs that convey information from Executive Leadership to all BIO Staff and to external business partners and that share information among BIO departments, through websites, electronic newsletters and other media.
- Lead the NCAL BIO implementation of an existing, wider initiative to make broad use of Microsoft SharePoint. This will include site design, set up and administration, and user training. The scope of this effort will include support for multiple sites used by different NCAL BIO departments. These sites may be used for project management, governance, internal communications and other purposes
- Develop, manage and deliver 'live' communication events for NCAL BIO, such as management offsite meetings, executive visits, and 'Town Hall' WebEx broadcasts.
- Support the operation of other BMO functions pertaining to information distribution and communications, such as reporting portals, compliance programs, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 additional years of equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of Business Operations Analyst experience with significant internal communication responsibility.
- Experience with Website development and use for corporate communications and information distribution.
- Experience in supporting and delivering corporate communications programs.
- Experience in coordinating live corporate communications events.
- Excellent strategic planning, verbal communication, writing and editing skills are required.
- Must have the ability to work well with multiple clients, manage multiple projects and handle sensitive information with the strictest confidence.
- Ability to construct wide variety of well-written communications while working under tight deadlines.
- Developing and maintaining SharePoint site as a reference and dashboard repository
- Developing and automating reports in Excel and Access
- Excellence in concise and crisp written and verbal communications is critical.
- Tool training and support (Niku/RPM)
- Developing and implementing processes
- Highly Proficient in MS Access 2007 and MS Project 2007
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in implementing and using Web-based tools (like Microsoft SharePoint and DocuShare) for communications, distributions, notifications and archiving.
- Should have a detail-oriented, can-do approach. Enjoys taking big ideas and creating the plans that make them reality. Thinks in tasks, owners, timelines, and deliverables. Can create a project document that is useful for collaborating teams. Quickly organizes discussions into action plans.
